Keelan Kay took victory in the third Junior Darts Corporation UK tour event of 2017, beating event two winner Jarred Cole 5-4 in the final.

Junior players from around the UK were battling it out for a place in the World Playoff Finals in Bristol this December and gaining valuable ranking points for the JDC’S OOM system, but it was Kay who would seal the win in Worcester.

Plymouth based Kay, dropped just four legs on his way to the final where he would meet Jarred Cole who himself had lost the same number of legs as he proressed to the decider.

The final began with Kay taking a commanding lead before Cole drew on his experience to level the tie and force a deciding leg.

It was to be Kay that had the final say however, booking his place in the JDC World Playoff Finals and securing a 5-4 victory.
