Billiards Sports will feature in the next edition of the International World Games Association events that the schedule to hold in 2025 in Chengdu. The good news was reported in Association website on the 5th May 2023.
“On Wednesday 3rd May during the Annual General Meeting in Madrid, the Executive Committee (ExCo) of the International World Games Association (IWGA) unveiled the program for the 12th edition of the Games.”
“Billiards Sports has been confirmed as one of the 30 official sports of The World Games 2025, to be held from 7th to 17th August 2025 in Chengdu, Peopleโs Republic of China.”
“Billiards Sports has been part of the World Games Sports program since the Akita World Games in 2001.”
“We are excited to begin our #RoadToChengdu.”
Heyball (a.k.a Chinese 8 Ball Pool) will be featuring the International World Games in Chengdu for the first time.
Billiards Sports featured in the 11th edition that held in Birmingham Alabama, USA in 2022. Egypt represented by Abdelrahman Shahin was the only Africa country that participated in the Snooker event.
