“Developing Story on Osimhen – OK, I didn’t see this one coming. Hats off to De Laurentiis for beating his own all-time low records. This is really low. Even for his notoriously low standards, he must have surprised himself.
Now, there is no need to go all emotional or panic. Keyboard warriors must also restrain the urge of spewing words devoid of knowledge. This right here, too, will NOT last.
Napoli and De Laurentiis have hit the very rock bottom of their malicious portfolio of options. If anyone should be under pressure, it’s De Laurentiis, definitely NOT Victor at this point. This is the worst-case scenario.
In the end, Napoli will terminate his contract because, obviously, they can’t keep paying an alienated player. Victor walks away as a free agent with no contractual complications or burden.
He is able to complete a transfer at any time inside or outside of the transfer window, depending on when Napoli takes their final shot. I assure you, De Laurentiis has very little choice but to pull the trigger sooner than later. He can’t just hold on to the gun for too long. It’s taxing!
However, my plea to you Victor (I know you are reading this) is to stay motivated, train hard, seize the opportunities in the upcoming international break to make a strong statement of intent, and pray against injuries. I promise you that even when this road appears torturous and long, it only appears as such. In reality, it is a road laden with masked promises as long as you hold on to the 2 cents I spared.
Again, God Willing, this won’t go beyond January. De Laurentiis is a sore loser, Victor will emerge victorious in the end.”
Below are some of the responses to Ifeoluwa’s Facebook Post
I have read a lot of comments from some people blaming Osimhen for not taking a pay cut to join Chelsea FC. I found those comments shameful and disgraceful because if Osimhen happens to be their brother will they have advise him to take that disgraceful peanut offer from Chelsea FC just because he wants to play for Chelsea FC? Are they the ones paying his bills for him? They have forgotten that Osimhen is the bread winner of his family. As young as he’s, I don’t think they know how many families he feed and cater for? I could remember vividly after watching one documentary in TV about Osimhen before the Nation cup final match when one Alfa said that whenever Osimhen is around during off season holiday in his community where he grown up in Lagos state. Everyone of them often go to his house to pray for him and mind you, non of them will leave his house without receiving his or her gifts from him. They said that the guy is really generous. So you expect him to take pay cut just because he wanted to play football for Chelsea FC which nobody can guarantee, how many years he has to even play football. I can’t even believe that fans have already started judging mbape for not scoring in just 3 matches.
Oscar who happens to play for Chelsea before going to China because of the huge amount of money he will be receiving there. When he was asked sometimes ago that why would he go to small league like that of China at a young age? He said that the money was too big for him to reject the offer for just because he wanted to play in Europe. Some people with their funny opinion are even saying that Osimhen should go and apologize to Finidi George. Why will he apologize to Finidi? I think that they know that even if Napoli decides not to use him again. He will still continue to be paid his weekly wages and some other bonuses.
Though Osimhen is not perfect. Everybody do make mistake since nobody is perfect. The only mistake I personally think that he makes is that he should have leave Napoli after winning the league for them and also winning the Africa footballer of the year. I don’t expect him to extend his contract again in the same Napoli where they don’t even celebrated him during the nation cup tournaments just like the way Atlanta are celebrating Lookman. Anyways nobody is perfect. Please people should just desist from blaming him.”
He should spend time learning and working on his character too. Talent is able to get you up there but only character will sustain you!!
Ifeoluwa Leo-Olagbayee, which international break? You’re funny, Osimhen is not a national team material, know this and know peace.
I said it earlier, inasmuch Napoli keeps paying him weekly wages till his contract terminates, Victor has nothing to loose. By January a good club will surface
